  Shame I have to give this place even 1 star.. I made an appointment for a bad toothache at Family Dental. At the apptment the dentist told me I'd have to make another appointment because she couldn't do it that afternoon. What? So I made another appt at the front desk for the following week and had to pay $100 for a 5 minute exam.. On the morning of my appointment I'm just going out the door and see a msg. It's Family Dental, my appt has been canceled because the dentist wants to check with my family doctor. What? So I call them and they can't tell me anything, the dentist is out.. Really.. So I get there at my appt time and ask for a refund because I have to get this aching tooth fixed, it's been over a week already. They can't issue a refund, the dentist isn't in, the manager is on vacation and only she has the authority? . Well the dentist shows up having been out somewhere and seems to not know what's going on and is apologetic. I'm not happy obviously.. So long story short,, I leave without my $100 refund and immediately drive up Murphy to Lakeshore Dental.. Walk in, ask to make an appointment. The receptionist tells me that if I can wait 20 minutes the dentist will see me. Dr. Sottosanti. He does. He takes an Xray,, and has my aching tooth fixed and I'm out the door in LESS than 40 minutes. I've since been back to Lakeshore for teeth cleaning.. it's a wonderful office, professional staff.. not like Family Dental on Michigan.
