- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We picked up our dog from the Humane Society who covered the cost of spaying her at any local vet. Called South Sarnia Vets as it is close and was told $24 for pain meds, $25 for a cone (both mandatory fees), IV fluids $75 and bloodwork (which the humane society did less than a week ago) was $90, both strongly recommended. Total $214. Sarnia Animal Hospital said make sure she was used to us before bringing her in as it was less stressful for her and when we asked about additional costs said 'no of course not, that's all covered".
